Jeremy Breece - Army SSG (Ret)Jeremy currently lives in Texas and is married (to his beautiful wife Roxann) with two sons, Zachary, 20 and Seth, 13.
Jeremy deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 with D-Company 2-2 Stryker Cavalry Regiment as an Infantryman/ Sniper. On 21 April 2011 while conducting what was supposed to be their last patrol before returning home to Germany, Jeremy stepped on a pressure plate activated IED, which resulted in the loss of both legs above the knee. He was sent to BAMC for treatment and physical therapy. Over the next 7 years Jeremy tried many different sockets but was never able to comfortably wear them long enough to become proficient in walking full-time. In 2018 Jeremy had Osseo-integration surgeries and now is able to walk full time. Jeremy is joining VCR in October as a side-car passenger. His good friend, Tony Doyle rode with VCR in 2020 also as a side-car passenger and is returning as a mentor with his very own Indian side-car bike to pilot Jeremy. |
